How long does it take for the nausea from birth control to go away?

I feel so nauseous, I cannot eat anything. Everytime I eat, it's like I start gagging. I had a banana the other day and I started gagging and was going to throw up all over the family room. I barely ate anything today and I just had a burger--and now I feel like throwing up. There's this awful feeling in my throat and all I wanna do is stick my finger down my throat to make this feeling go away.

It has been 5 weeks since I have started.

Same thing happened when I went on birth control, turns out it was because of the brand.
Some brands make you VERY nauseous. It can get dangerous, the birth control i'm on now, is 100% better, i'm on Yaz.
After about a week on yaz i felt so much better.
It can also be your body adapting to the change.
Because it is a huge change in your system.
Be sure to follow your schedule, I once didn't because i didn't want my period while on vacation, it got me sick a whole month.
